Made with 4.5mm needles. I made up the stitch pattern myself (altered from this one: http://www.redheart.com/free-patterns/easy-fit-ribbed-hat )
I started the hat in Budapest and finished it in Prague.
This is the second thing I've made.
NOT BAD, AY?!

Wow that looks really good!! I want to learn :) I'll have to watch when you get home.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rachel! It is actually pretty simple once you get the hang of it, it just takes a long ass time. Haha! But we gotssss time! ;)

ReplyDeleteI've been crocheting for a year and I am about to begin the adventure of knitting. We'll have to get together when you get back and have a wine/yarn night! :D How did you learn to knit? And do you practice English Knitting or Continental? Since I crochet from what I've begun thus far I want to go Continental because it feels more natural but it's still a learning process. You look fabulous and I'm so excited to see you and hear all about your adventures. Plus swap some knitting tips!
ReplyDeleteHey Ashley! A knitting party would be awesome! I actually learned by watching youtube videos, there are some really good resources out there. Also, there are videos that do walk-thrus with patterns you can find free online. And I do English, but I haven't developed great technique yet.... but I think my tension is good, so it gets the job done... haha. Good to hear from you! I hope all is well. XO
